Looks good but has flaws
Kommentarer: Average and at times unnecessarily frustrating. I won't be renewing my subscription. Yes, it's cheaper than some platforms out there, but the frustration and shakeable trust in the product makes me wish I'd stuck with the platform I was on before I moved to Pixpa. When I compare Pixpa to Format or Pixieset(both of whom I've used in the past) it doesn't match in terms of being a solid all-round professional product; having a clear UI (for example, there are customisation icons that are present but don't do anything - which is just confusing); and, in my experience, I don't feel the platform offers an overall sense of stability.

The customisable templates look good and it is relatively easy to create a good-looking website - however, there are limits to the customisation of the blocks systems and you end up with a relatively generic website that doesn't distinguish it from many of the platforms out there such as Squarespace. Customer service is pretty good though I often have to wait more than 24 hours for resolution of an issue.
Ulemper:
As a professional, I have used many portfolio platform builders in my time and, for me, there are just too many wired glitches with the backend of Pixpa. It doesn't feel as stable as a platform like Squarespace or Format - not enough for me to trust it with my professional service and website long-term. I have had to reach out to the service team on too many occasions for too many basic things like the website content disappearing, not being able to log in to my account for no apparent reason, password rest emails not being sent to the correct email address etc.

Pixpa's quite easy to use, and although it doesn't have the complete set of tools that WiX has, I'm very satisfied with it. Pricing is very competitive, and the customer support (live chat) is extremely helpful.

Outstanding Support & Service

As small business you often do not get the support you need without buying a package at a ridiculous expense. As a small business I say thank you to Pixpa. I moved to Pixpa because of the reports from many photographers about the quality of its service and support. I am quite good with tech but changing platforms I did not want to waste time relearning a system. I will in time but I needed to get it up and running. [sensitive content hidden] has been outstanding. Using a video clip to highlight what to do was above and beyond. I was in a rush to get started to use my website for my business and to be honest without the support I would never in the time I had available. There is always a lot of criticism with Tech and sometimes rightfully so but the response from Pixpa has been outstanding. A shout out to [sensitive content hidden] as well. As small business a huge thank you for your support.

Master of your own website

The clearly well-structured user interface makes building a website easy to understand and clear. Pixpa contains a lot of features and very many integrations with third parties. This makes building a professional-looking website a real pleasure. But what I am most pleased with is their helpdesk. Never have I known a software provider that knows how to deliver such service. You get 27/7 help when you have a problem. Communicaqtion is in your own language via email. You have 3 employees linked to your account (3 because of 24/7) who you can always contact. So you don't have to deal with a different employee every time. The longest I've had to wait for an answer is half an hour, but usually you get an answer within 3-5 minutes. Their answers are very clear. They refer to the corresponding technical explanations in the help database , which is very well documented by the way.
I have experienced them doing the modification in my website and also giving a short video on how to do it. this is really sublime, never known a company that provides such a helpdesk service.

Great customer service
Kommentarer: The overall experience is great, especially given the outstanding customer service. In this day and age of voice-mail hell, email black holes, and useless chat-bots, having another human connection is exceptional.

Customer service is totally amazing. Whether usage questions or a problem with a template - I received answers within hours independent of day-of-week. Really phenomenal. The templates are great, modern looking. The online-usage-help is exhaustive. Features are generally speaking plentiful. Bottom line - strong thumbs up.
Ulemper:
As with any complex piece of SW supporting various workflows, etc., it takes a little time to really create a website that covers the basic website, password protected galleries for customer review, as well as a web-shop with price-lists and stripe integration. Having compared a number of hosting services, I think Pixpa does well here. Integrating with an EU based printing service would be great. Not many customers request this, but it would be a nice add-on.

Kommentarer: I was struggling to find a good platform to host occasional blog posts with a lot of photos. So far, Pixpa has been amazing at hosting all of my pictures in high resolution while also displaying blog posts wonderfully!

I love how easy it is to write blog posts, and there are so many layouts that I can use to display my content. I can also upload as many pictures as I want. As a photographer, it's very important to me that I can upload my pictures and that they're displayed in high resolution. Pixpa offers this at a great price.

The interface can be a bit challenging to use some times. Additionally, managing photo galleries could be a bit easier, but it's not really too big of a deal.

Beautiful Site for Artist Business
Kommentarer: I wanted a low cost, good-looking website, with hosting included. Pixpa made implementation easy, even for someone who does creative art work, not a professional in the web design business. In only a few days, I had a complete, beautiful site, with a functional store. compared to another provider Id used in the past for another domain, my site is easier to use and better looking. Customer service was very helpful with the one question I had. I will be continuing to use Pixpa.

Pixpa made connection and hosting easy. Their many templates were good looking, and I found one that looked appropriate for my art display. Customizing with logo, content, and colors was easy. Hooking up to Stripe payment was not difficult either. The store sections are easy to set up, as there are prompts like SEO, tags, and more.
Ulemper:
I understand their reasons for not connecting domain name email as it is just not what they want to do. But I did have to get my email from another place. Hover, who did the domain connection, had inexpensive email, so it was not really a problem. It would also be nice to have additional payment options, beyond PayPal and Stripe, although these are very common. I use Stripe, so again, not a problem, but I have been asked to identify areas where they could improve, so there you are!

Very customizable and very easy to use

It is easy to learn and use, it has intuitive menus, the price is a bit high for me but I recognize that they offer good service. Customer service has also been very satisfactory so far. New to Pixpa... love it!

The Pixpa team is amazing! They are fast, friendly and have an amazing amount of knowledge! Webpages are easy to make and the whole platform is very user friendly, even has options for those that have a bit more knowledge to create something different within. Their biggest strength is customer service, I never had to wait for hours, they usually get back to me within 5 mins or less and they are so helpful, its truly the best spot for your website! I highly recommend!
