I adore PaySimple for their all-inclusive payment solution, which has completely changed how my firm operates. Ulemper:

Even though my whole experience with PaySimple has been great, the pricing structure would be the thing I dislike the least. I discovered that PaySimple's pricing plans can be a little on the expensive side compared to some other providers of payment solution because I am always mindful of minimizing my spending as a small business owner. Although the platform has great features and functionality, the price may be an issue for companies with tight budgets.

I'd like the transaction reports to be editable so I can select the order they appear from left to right. Whis way I can keep all my filters but not scroll to the right to see the payment info I am looking for.

My Review

Kommentarer: I would not choose this software or recommend it unless the above two things are fixed.

Fordeler:

Easy to use for invoicing and the customers don't seem to have a problem with using it.

Ulemper:

After creating a customer and then rebilling that customer several instances of their name comes up. There should be just one name that comes up. This is annoying. Also as mentioned above the ACH payments are combined and when my bank feed gets it i don't know which payments were combined. In the Reports show how the payments were combined and paid. This is important and would save me hours of time.

Kommentarer: We really needed a more secure way to store customer cc information and PaySimple has a beautiful system for that. It has really been a time saver having recurring billing plans set up as many of our customers are on a monthly subscription plan.
Overall 10/10, I have greatly appreciated this service and its functionality.

I have been very impressed with the ease of set up. We were set up and fully using this system within 4 days. I appreciate the quick glance reports that are found on the homepage, that indicate the our monthly sales as compared to the previous month.

Ulemper:

I feel like refunding partial amounts is more deeply hidden in the platform than I expected it to be. (however, when I did have a question about how to do a partial refund/credit, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received a comprehensive answer.)

Fully functional service with easy to use API, well documented and easy to integrate

From the first discovery call to my full implementation of the software, the PaySimple team was there with full support and always available to make my implementation as smooth as possible.

Ulemper:

Nothing at all. I have found on flaws with the solution.

Okay Replacement for Quickbooks Online ACH functionality.

Kommentarer: Very hard time getting clearing house established. The first transaction was a large security / first / last month's rent. It took 2 weeks to FINALLY get the funds released from the clearing house. I also had not realized the extra fees charged by PaySimple for the larger transaction over 5K so was surprised there and will bill future large bills directly from QBO. Since that poor start, monthly payments have gone smoothly other than having to manually enter rent invoices for each apartment in PaySimple every month and still needing to generate monthly (unsent) invoices in QBO as the the invoices generated on PaySimple to not transfer over to QBO.

It saved me >$50 per month in a real estate setting with multiple tenants each paying >1K per month

Ulemper:

1) There are no ways to set up automatic recurring monthly invoices. You need to duplicate existing invoices manually and change the dates. 2) If multiple payments transfer on a single day, QBO gets confused and you have to manually track down which ones paid.

I like it !

Fordeler:

The software has helped reduce losses. This year will be my first 0 loss/collections accounts year. :D The processing is quick & accurate & worth the cost. Customer service is always super friendly.

Ulemper:

I don't really have any complaints about this product.

PaySimple 101

Kommentarer: My overall experience has been great but PaySimple wasn't a necessity for my company so I stopped paying for it after 6 months.

Fordeler:

PaySimple made it really easy for me to bill and to send my invoices to my clients. I love how it automatically generates my invoice once the template is built. Its a very efficient and time saving software!

Ulemper:

Not everyone knows PaySimple in my organization and with my clientele. They are used to software like quickbooks and paypal for payments which could be a problem at times.

Batch fees and overall price of product were overkill for the size and current operating model of my business

PaySimple is just that-Simple!

Fordeler:

It is so simple to use and train people on. The customer service is out of this world. I needed help with a customer payment issue that was really out of their scope of service, but they went out of their way to help me get some answers! They are also one of the only companies we have found to take electronic checks as well as credit cards. This helps us keep credit card fees down and some of our clients prefer that method of payment.

Ulemper:

Their fees are on the higher end-but definitely worth it!

A little pricy, but with more bells and whistles than most.

Kommentarer: Straightforward and streamlined system with few favorable card reader options that does a fantastic job for our recurrent revenue operation.

Fordeler:

Recurrent billing schedules, a great POS interface, and customer databases with the ability to store multiple payment methods makes it easy and effortless for new staff to learn and repeat or subscribed customers to use contactless methods of payment.

Ulemper:

The price in comparison to some of its peers stands out as disconnected from the goal of driving down per-transaction costs for smaller businesses.

September 2021 PaySimple Review

Kommentarer: PaySimple has been great for our business. Most helpful is that customer service is easily reached and very responsive. Customer service is definitely a strength in using PaySimple.

Fordeler:

PaySimple makes it easy for our customers to make payment and view their accounts. It also is very user-friendly for our business administrator. The notifications of payment status allows for sucessful tracking of fees.

Ulemper:

There are some features that have yet to be added. Would like to be able to delete categories without contacting the company. Trying to discover the best way to organize category items from one year to the next.

We love PaySimple!

Recurring billing is by far the most useful feature for us. In combination with the online store, our clients will register and set up their recurring billing and then it goes on until cancellation. Very easy and convenient!

Ulemper:

It's a bit complicated to give partial refunds. I with this process were easier. It's nice that there is a feature where you can add a custom field for clients but this custom field is not searchable and I wish it were.

Love Pay Simple

Kommentarer: Working with pay simple has been easy, and enjoyable. Every time I have a question it’s a quick phone call or email to the support desk and I get a response right away.

Not having an additional piece of equipment to carry around and ensure it’s charged has helped our business incredibly. Being able to process payments on the spot with the customer in their home is huge.

Ulemper:

I’m not sure I have any cons on The software.

Good product but always room to improve.

Kommentarer: We had some initial issues with the product and support, however, I think we have worked most of the issues out. Overall positive experience.

Fordeler:

The simple and efficient portal and checkout options. The invoice builder is a little difficult to navigate, but overall it’s fairly easy to process the invoices/payments needed.

Ulemper:

The support portal isn’t the best and the UX could be improved. We also had some initial issues with the support team pushing back on a banking issue. While this was not a great first impression, we have had an overall positive experience. I also am not a fan of the extensive information needed to raise the daily and monthly processing limits. Not sure if this is regulation, however, it seems excessive.

Overall Great Product

Kommentarer: Customer service is very friendly and helpful, but sometimes the things I need to change are complicated/confusing and time consuming requiring multiple forms not able to complete online (change of address, limit increase requests etc). Other similar things that are convoluted--In a current situation with a customer who made a chargeback due to not recognizing our business name, and he is confused by steps required to get us non-restricted, and it's been a huge time suck for all parties, and no sign of ending.

Reliable, consistent and easy to use product --lots of options for customizing for your needs.

Ulemper:

I did not like how it integrated with Quickbooks Online, and gave up on that after a few weeks--it was faster and more accurate for me to do on my own (trouble matching customers etc).

Pros

Kommentarer: I have only been with Harris Federal for about 6 weeks. Overall, my experience with PaySimple has been great.

It is easy to use and customize. Also [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is great. He has been really helpful in helping me learn the program and utilize it more fully.

Ulemper:

There was an issue this past week with billing schedules not running as they should have. This disrupted payment plans that need to stay on schedule

PaySimple review

Kommentarer: I’ve used this service for many years. Requested better reports and reporting for all of them. It’s never been done. I have to use quickbooks in tandem as a result.

Fordeler:

It’s easy to use. Repeating payments are easy to setup and process.

Ulemper:

It has terrible reporting. The dashboard isn’t configurable and would be great for reports, but there is no way to edit it.

Very useful software

Kommentarer: If i have any problems or issues customer service is always available and quick to answer.

Easy to set up and get clients going. Clients can also log into their account which i like.

Ulemper:

Could have a more modern look, i feel like its a little outdated. Wish I could issue partial cc refunds.

Crap Reseller of World Pay

Kommentarer: Poor- check the email trail in tech support.

Fordeler:

nothing- 0% Poor- check the email trail in tech support. Poor- check the email trail in tech support. Poor- check the email trail in tech support.

Ulemper:

As a company, we were double billed and had to pay World Pay direct. Tech support was never correct with their trouble shooting and every time tech support said the account was active or working, IT WAS NOT. Tech1 had many clients denied billing and this was a total embarrassment resulting in loss of revenue.

Recurring Bill

Kommentarer: My overall experience is great so far. Hopefully it remains same.

That we can debit our client fee anywhere without disturbing them and we are getting monthly payment on time.

Ulemper:

When i complaint about bad list, it never resolve and i even do not know how my client ended up in bad list. We save account numbers then whenever we need them we can not get it from paysimple.

I like that it is internet based and the set up is easy to install.

right now there is a classic payment set up and new payment set up. It should be configured under the new payment set up. confusing when trying to remove a recurring payment.

Able to start new business up New business, which helped with increase in acceptance for patients that credit would not allow them otherwise financing.

Ulemper:

Took toooo long to get Bank Information corrected. No point of contact when I had issues. At the beginning I had [SENSITIVE CONTENT] then [SENSITIVE CONTENT],,,then no one, had to explain everything to a different person EVERTIME I called.

Pay Simple Is a Great Software

I like how user friendly PaySimple makes the web platform. Additionally customer service is incredibly responsive and helpful.

Ulemper:

The fact that there are two different platforms for merchant services which make the charges less transparent. You have to actively check on them to be in the know.
