Kommentarer: Overall, it's been a great experience. It's easy to use, the implementation process was all good and going through the platform is very smooth and user friendly. It has QBO integration, which facilitates the coding in our accounting system, saving us a lot of time.

Fordeler:

It's very user friendly, and gives you control of everything that goes on. As well is very easy to generate reports and the support team is very responsive and helpful.

Ulemper:

There's some minimum for payments to specific countries that is kind of a limitation for the staff we have there which lead us to use other platforms. The 1099s have to be processed manually when working on the end of year filing.

Software selection proves a success

Kommentarer: Overall, we are thrilled with selecting the right product for our business case. The staff are extremely helpful and flexible in ensuring it can meet our requirements with some tailoring as required.

The ability to process invoices from time of receipt to actual payment. Ability to handle multi-entity as well as handling of invoice management for a HNW individual.

Ulemper:

UI not always that strong - could use some improvements in the structure of the tool and the user interface.

Not a great solution combined with Teampay

Kommentarer: Overall it started out pretty good. As volume started to pick up and required purchase orders to be created through Teampay, we started seeing blatant sync/connection issues with Netsuite.

Fordeler:

The software functions pretty well on it's own, and handles invoice processing and vendor payment easily.

Ulemper:

We had a ton of issues with our connection between Teampay/Tipalti/Netsuite. We were sold Tipalti and Teampay as a package deal and they definitely have not lived up to the promise. Both softwares would function better on their own, but they need each other to be a full end to end procurement software.

E2E payment solutions

Fordeler:

CSV-based transaction files provide more distinguished adaptability. Our licensing software generates fees that may be simply formatted to coordinate with the transaction file's specifications. Tipalti has lessened the time it takes to collect and disperse quarterly royalties from days to hours.

Ulemper:

Among my complaints is that it is impossible to notify the approver that a rejected approval claim has been submitted. It might be helpful if invoices could be added to a pending payment order so customer can see the progress easily.

Tipalti as a pristine gateway

Kommentarer: Overall, the software and business is exceeding expectations and can be a value to any company in e-commerce or other financial obligation settlement needs.

The streamlined and ergonomic interface, together with global reach and end-user CRMs, make the payment obligations such an easy task, it's pratically effortless.

Ulemper:

Ocassional payments stuck with less calrity on the reasoning.

Approve E2E Solution

Fordeler:

Approve provides a quick integratetion solution that covers the mains procurement requirements, it helps us as a grown company to formalize our procurement process, provide online visibility of the requests, budget, and status easily in one place. Great product with a great team that cares for the customer requests and understand the needs that can improve Approve - can't wait for the new functions!

Ulemper:

Waiting for Invoice integration solutions, this will be awesome

Approve.com put us one step closer to adopting big-company workflows, without the complexity

Kommentarer: my pain was mid-management were buying products without an organized approval workflow, and without them having transperancy as to how much of their budget is left on a monthly basis. I was afraid of implementing a process using our ERP as it's not friendly enough and I want to be an enabler of my peers - Approve.com definitely hit my sweet spot with their offering.

Fordeler:

- easy to onborad all the different stakeholders, no more approvals on slack or emails - transparecny on Actual vs. Budget for every stakeholder - suppliers onboarding saved us hours of the finance team every month

Ulemper:

- missing vitual credit cards - emails layout doesn't look good, images are too big etc. (I'm using MS outlook)

Great Payment Solution

Kommentarer: We have a very complicated payout setup that used to take up to 5 days per month to complete. After integrating with Tipalti we've been able to reduce that to 1 day a month and significantly increase the accuracy and timeliness of payouts. The functionality provided relative to the cost is a steal. While we'd love to see more customization, they're working hard to release new features and we've been very pleased with the relationship so far.

It would have been beneficial to have more flexibility in tailoring the platform to align with unique business needs.

Great Product & Service

Kommentarer: using tipalti has solved the administrative burden of managing payees and their payment info, allows for easy process of payments, additional users (account managers) have access and can easily understand and provide support to payees (including information on payments - paid or pending) without needing to connect account managers to company's accounting software (which is more complicated to use)

ease of use, manages supplier payments in logical and comprehensive way - allowing to see current status and allows for payment planning, streamlines invoice approval process for payees, reduces significantly administrative effort to manage payee bank info (and tax-related docs), simple and easy process to issue payments

Ulemper:

some additional flexibility on managing customization of payments and ability to see in single view the unpaid balance of payees

TIPALTI is my time saver

I like the Automation how Tipalti read and memorize invoices and putting it to the appropriate Payee, portal, and also I love the Paperless idea.

I wish Tipalti able to sync the PDF file along with the bill over to NetSuite

Tipalti - A Made Easy payment gateway

Kommentarer: I was particularly concerned about whether the rules governing money transfers applied to our international payments. Tipalti introduced a fantastic money transfer solution that is extremely effective and accommodates a range of payment methods. By integrating Tipalti into our payment procedure, we have sent millions of dollars overseas. Tipalti has greatly reduced the amount of time I spend processing invoice payments.

Fordeler:

With Tipalti, it's simple to view the status of payments and invoices right away. Time and money are saved by having a single payment run for both domestic and international payments. Having a 100% paperless payables procedure is wonderful. The software handles processing invoices and paying vendors with relative ease when used independently.

Ulemper:

One of my issues is that it is impossible to alert the authorizer that an approval claim has been made but been refused. If invoices could be included in a pending payment order, customers could readily track the status. The cost is not cheap. The implementation process takes some time. But once you board, the journey is incredible.

Great product - huge time saver!

Kommentarer: First and foremost - it helped us decrease request processing time and remove hundreds of email threads per month. That alone is a worthwhile reason (bureaucracy is a speedbump for businesses).
It also gave us a window to look into vendor performance and spend patterns - which help us make the processes more efficient.
All in all - great product. needs a little adjustment for full automation but will highly recommend!

The product is very easy to use, and the integration was very easy (including great help from the team!). It features a centralized and searchable vendor portal for all vendor data in an easy-to-use interface, and completes it with an automated vendor on-boarding process - which makes life super easy. The product also allows me to easily set up standardized PR and PO processes to streamline the end-to-end procurement cycle, which is a huge help.

Ulemper:

The feature I lacked most was automated file uploading. Currently, you have to manually upload files into the system each time. However, I've discussed with the team and they are working on it so very hopeful!

Straight Forward System!

Kommentarer: Great system for the price. Overall great support when needed. Data is easily managed and we generally have a seamless AP schedule thanks to Tipalti.

Fordeler:

It is easy to use and clear in what is pending/has been paid. It is very secure as well.

Ulemper:

Don't really have many negatives about Tipalti other than allowing vendors from other countries to be paid in US dollars occasionally causes issues.

Excellent purchasing tool

Kommentarer: Great tool, connects well to Netsuite, they helped with the integration and training and I’d definitely recommend them to other companies looking to establish a proper purchasing process.

The looks and speed of the system. We were mostly worried about users not adopting, but ended up successfully deploying the process across the company

They don’t deal with invoices. So we had to keep our AP operations in our ERP

Collective Eye Films - Tipalti Review

Kommentarer: We've dramatically reduced the amount of time spend on payment processing and doing tax validation. Their customer service is excellent and the on-boarding was not very time consuming, though we had just completed another software process so we had a lot of our materials ready in advance.

Fordeler:

The flexiblity of the CSV based payment file. We can easily format our royalty payments coming out of our royalty software to meet the payment file. A quarterly royalty process used to take weeks, now with Tipalti and Curve Royalties it is a matter of hours with much higher customer satisfaction.

Ulemper:

Having a payee list in the payee area would be an improvement instead of needing to export a CSV. Similarly, it would be great to be able to select a payee and click some sort of 'issue single payment' button for those instances where you need to issue a quick payment. These are more feature enhancements that would make the software close to perfect.

Sales + Marketing

Fordeler:

It's a great safe system. Seamless for the most part. Our clients who are 13+ easily understand the system and are able to set it up for themselves.

Ulemper:

The biggest con is the application verification doesn't work. It takes forever for the verification to come and sometimes it never does come.

Tipalti Approve

Kommentarer: I create my reports here and I can easily notice the parts I want.

Fordeler:

It is very nice that the analyzes are simpler and more understandable than other software.

Ulemper:

Correction of transactions is very difficult and complex. It needs to become simpler

Easy to use, feature rich software suite

Easy to use, historic invoices are easy to access and review. User interface is de-cluttered and user friendly

Not much, for the features I use the software performs fine.

Excellent SAS

Kommentarer: Excellent SAS. Customer Support is top notch. Using this service has reduced our man-hours (and costs) considerably. There is a lot of back-end work to get it linked into your system but it's worth it. We send weekly and monthly payments (qty in the thousands) and I'd hate to go back to doing this ourselves.

Excellent Customer Support, I'd rank it among the best. You can actually CALL them (!). Sometimes you have to leave a voice message but they get back to your promptly; same if you email them. Uploading payment instructions is very straightforward.

Ulemper:

Knowing if a recipient is indeed payable is sometimes a bit difficult to determine. However, such recipients seem to be in hard-to-pay countries. Tipalti is always trying to improve things though.

Tipalti makes approving invoices very easy and provides great documentation regarding who approved and which accounts in the GL are being charged.

Implementation was difficult and there should have been more up front training.
