TalentLMS helps me keep track of training courses easily

Kommentarer: TalentLMS allows me to keep a record of my training courses, training hours, evaluations, and test results so that I can easily conduct an audit. It's great for getting acquainted with or relaying the organization's standards, and it helps sustain an effective rewards system.

Fordeler:

Excellent resource for reusing existing information into new educational resources; It can be picked up and used in less than an hour. Excellent service is a hallmark of this company. They are easy to contact, respond quickly and are open to suggestions for improvement. Their location in Cyprus scared me in terms of communication, but even with our own account representative, everything was fine.

Ulemper:

Unfortunately, when training materials are generated in Microsoft PowerPoint and submitted to TalentLMS, the software removes all animations and page transitions. The visuals are dull and unchanging.

Small Company Solution to LMS quandry.

Kommentarer: I'm very thankful to find TalentLMS for our small manufacturing company. The company had been looking to implement a learning management system for some time and TalentsLMS has provided a high quality, standard-compliant solution, at an affordable price.

TalentLMS is extremely user-friendly. I am the sole system administrator for our company and the system makes for easy uploads of documents and groupings of employees according to department.

Ulemper:

The only flaw I have noticed, which is very miniscule, is that occasionally the quality of pictures uploaded is poor. That has only happened on 1 or 2 occasions and could be a result of the document?

TalentLMS: Solid LMS, Mediocre Course Creator

Kommentarer: Very happy with TalentLMS as a distribution platform for its easy of use. Needs to develop a more advanced course authoring component.

The easy of uploading SCORM files, creating discounts, sales, and bundles, and publishing courses to the platform.

Ulemper:

The course creation element needs more variety in terms of interactive elements/templates. Also the limitations on users makes the pricing rather costly.

The customisable pages. The multi-lingual function is very helpful since we train across geographies in Africa.

Graphics could be more appealing/attractive. Payment options can be more affordable (especially for small business and start-ups).

One of the best LMS for SMBs

I loved the overall interface. It is very intuitive and easy to use. I use TalentLMS as an admin and I love the features that are available.

Ulemper:

Some obvious features are not available in the modern version of the platform. I understand the company is working on it and am sure the modern version will cover all missing aspects.

Worth your time!

Kommentarer: Overall, I have been able to leverage most of the features in it. I still have a little learning curve but in general easy to use platform and I see how it's evolving to better support the future needs.

Pulling surveys and tests from the legacy platform is a bit of a nuisance as I enjoy the new platform and perform everything in it.

Easy to use TalentLMS

Kommentarer: Very happy with the LMS. Our learners spreading over various generations find it easy to use.

Easy to setup for an admin and easy to use for a learner. Instructors are also having no problem navigating on the system.

Ulemper:

N/A currently everything is working well, and we're preparing to switch over to the new interface 1 June 2025.

Learning & Cross-training made easier with AI integration

Kommentarer: Overall, the software is really helpful especially the AI course generator which helps us create the courses on its own with just uploading the desired documents to it. Perfect use of AI. Spot on! Could be improved further with more AI integrated features.

Talent LMS is a great help for uplifting your employees professionally and cross train them on different set of skills and track their performances. A great continuous learning platform to learn new or enhance current skills.

Ulemper:

The custom dashboards could be enhanced more through constructive feedback and should have more options to create from for metrics and goal tracking.

Grunner til å bytte til TalentLMS: First, it was possible to integrate it with our internal ERP & ADP (payroll) system. It helped track employee performance with providing the employees with great sense of ownership and anticipation during our discovery sessions.

Talent LMS Rocks!

Kommentarer: Overall, TalentLMS is wonderful. I had to downgrade because I did not get my government contract. When I downgraded, the system would not allow me to downgrade fully. I sent an email to the key people and they resolved the problem expeditiously.

I LOVE TalentLMS. I have been using this mgmt system EVERYDAY for over a year. This system is so easy to use, has lots of great features and my students find it very easy to navigate.

Ulemper:

The TalentLMS App (BETA) don't work with some of the desktop features. It has been in beta for since I started using it (over a year). I am just waiting for them to get the bugs out so I can use it to track my students. I haven't told my students about the beta.

Continued improvements

Kommentarer: Overall it has been a great experience. Their support is always helpful and timely, they rarely have service disruptions (despite a massive increase in e-learning following COVID) and they have continued to improve the features of the product.

Talent LMS has continued to deploy regular quarterly updates which improve the features and usability of their product. They've maintained affordable pricing along the way, even when large updates have been added to the system. It's really easy for our learners to use and administration and reporting is pretty good.

Ulemper:

Certification management needs to be improved further. I still haven't quite figured out how we will handle re-certification if requirements differ from the original. It's also not easy to get the certificate ID number, which is important to be able to store the data outside of Talent LMS. Our workaround requires manually loading a PDF preview and taking the ID from the PDF, which is the only place you can embed it natively. Reporting has gotten increasingly better over time but can still use some better cross-object reporting and filtering based on other criteria.

Great Service, Great Value - Perfect LMS

Kommentarer: We are able to provide short, customized and basic courses that are easily consumed to our staff... we can make custom assignments and automated learning tracks that lower our administrative burden and allow us to track progress and gather relevant feedback. We have many internal questions to answer, however TLMS has given us the flexibilty to address long-term learning and development needs! The support is really outstanding and they are all very responsive... a great partnership!!

It is very easy to create courses and also clones and reuse various units of the courses. Reporting is super easy and effective. The automation and notification features work very well for us and many options to accommodate our needs. The Talent Library is also very helpful for the off-the-shelf content that we need, we don't have to shop around b/c it's all right there!

Ulemper:

There are times when search for users, courses, or other gets a little complicated only b/c once you click on an item or make a change, the search results are reset. Perhaps there's a way to do this better I don't know, but I mention the critiques and the team at TLMS takes note and passes on to the development team.

Simple, Robust, and Informative

Kommentarer: Overall, our experience with TalentLMS is extremely positive. We appreciate how easy it is to get started with TalentLMS and how simple it is to develop courses quickly. Even with the simplicity is there, the features are robust enough to provide quality learning experiences. The support provided by the TalentLMS team is top-notch, and they are very responsive and helpful.

Our favorite TalentLMS features are its ease of use, learner analytics, and the ability to set up branches. As an education service agency, we use TalentLMS to offer microlearning opportunities to busy teachers and school administrators. Our course authors find TalentLMS to be easy to use and simple to learn. We use the reports and infographics to understand how and when our participants access their learning opportunities. We love that we can use branches to group users and establish a specific course catalog per branch.

Ulemper:

Although we find more pros than cons with TalentLMS, we do wish there was a way to "drip" content to users via email. We also wish we could customize the storefront and course information pages (more than already possible) as viewed by learners.

Talentlms has been my shadow in my years of success as a director of learning and development all over the world starting in Dubai and ended to the USA. What I recently like most is that they are upgrading to AI Powered LMS in a smart way. This will enable us to move faster and at a better quality in designing courses.

I wish they have a plan to embed live chat on courses and instant feedback to promote communication between learners under each course lesson.

Talent LMS is really user friendly. I found that uploading PowerPoints as MP4 works better than a PowerPoint.

Ulemper:

You can't add voiceover to the new AI and it doesn't use the whole file you upload, so let out way too much information for what I needed.

The lack of customization options regarding the platform design should be improved. While I can add my logo and adjust some colors, I would like more control over the visual appearance and the ability to fully adapt it to my company's identity.

Additionally, the user management system could benefit from additional features for bulk user imports and more granular user role permissions.

Let's start with the cost- easily the highest featured for the money LMS out there. We went with Moodle and really tried to make it work for quite some time. We were on the verge of hiring a Moodle expert to help us take the project live, but instead took one last look at the market. TalentLMS hits the sweet spot between self-hosting a Moodle site for free and paying a lot of money for a high-end LMS. We wanted an LMS that offered content creation built in, and not in a clunky fashion, but in an intuitive, well designed way. TalentLMS offers this. We also use Wix pages and embed them to produce the content we like. We wanted to create Branches for each of our centres in order to track compliance and learning scores per centre. TalentLMS offers this. We wanted easy gamification and a feeling that this is 'fun'. The feedback from our test group was amazing- they loved it and it just works. We wanted to host it originally, but TalentLMS allows us to map the domains and use our own URLs while still allowing all updates and content to be handled remotely on their servers. Brilliant! You can customise your LMS- we installed live web-chat functions to help our users. All colours and logos can be personalised. Great! In reality- how different is every LMS from each other? Talent works for us as its a fantastic price point and ticks all the boxes we need! It's cheap enough for you to try it (free at first!) and decide for yourself. We haven't regretted our decision once.

Ulemper:

The only think I marked down was the Customer Support, but only because I would like something like a live webchat function for admins. It's perhaps a bit unfair as they have a ticketing function that allows users to create tickets for issues and they respond to you really quickly (less than 30mins in my experience). However, at the start of our implementation, I'd like to talk to somebody in real-time about issues and problems, so this is the only thing I would change. Using a system like Tawk.to (free!) would have been an idea for them. We've actually installed Tawk.to on our version of TalentLMS and it's great for our users.

TalentLMS is a robust learning management system

Kommentarer: TalentLMS gives us an online learning platform that we can share with clients everywhere. Be creating separate branches and groups we are able to deliver unique content to specific clients and encourage interactions within groups.

The TalentLMS is pretty easy to set up when you use the support system. The online support library, the email to support and our personal support rep all combine to help understand how it works. Plus, once you learn the system, it's super easy to add courses and organize them.

Ulemper:

Using the original course content in tandem with the course library is a bit awkward. We want to combine the TalentLMS courses with our created courses into one class and so far we are doing a work-around to make it happen. We are also trying to make the discussion threads work for groups within the course we have created.
